Another key factor in our successful delivery is the quality of our frontline staff, all of which are highly knowledgeable from a technical perspective and also possess a passion and in-depth understanding of the sports they are working on. AE Live currently has over 100 permanent operational staff throughout our global teams, all specifically recruited and trained to work in the outside broadcast environment. Our ethos is to instil into our frontline staff a technical know-how that fosters good problem solving skills, self-sufficiency and resilience.
Our core graphics delivery is underpinned by a suite of software control applications, developed by our in-house team, meaning that we can tailor our solutions for each client’s specific needs. The primary graphics playout software developed for each sport or event pulls data from a range of sources, including our own central databases and capture applications, as well as live third party data feeds, thus significantly reducing the risk of human error and enabling us to swiftly put graphics content to air. Built in conjunction with AE Live’s in-house creative team we are able to achieve a graphics package that is flexible and intuitive with on-screen graphics reacting to and complementing each other as they animate in, out and change-on throughout the broadcast.
